Paintball Hoppers
The hoppers for paintball guns are known as loaders that hold the paintballs until the guns are ready to fire. The three main types are agitating, force feed, and gravity feed however there are many different variations.
Some of the common problems with all hoppers are:
- Paintballs breaking
- Jamming up at the feed neck
- Dry firing
Even though force feed and agitating hoppers have a higher rate of fire compared to gravity feed, they still might fail due to contact with moisture and dead batteries. Paintball hoppers have the capability to achieve rates of feed 30 balls per second and higher.
